Since 1983, the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Nebraska has been making very special wishes come true for Nebraska children facing life-threatening illnesses. We are part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, the world's largest wish-granting organization. Each year, Make-A-Wish^® grants thousands of wishes to children around the world. How is the Organization Structured?
In 1983, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America was founded to charter local chapters throughout the United States and its territories. Today, there are over 69 chapters throughout the U.S., the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam and 27 international affiliates around the world.
