The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska may be deductible for federal income tax purposes.

For the fiscal year ending August 31, 2007, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska’s revenue and support totaled $1,734,477. Expenses totaled $1,389,104, and of that amount, 85% was spent directly in support of the Foundation’s mission. Fundraising costs for the year were 7% of total expenses, and 8% of expenses went to administrative/management costs.
